Department Officers
In October of every year each of the department's
four stations elect a station chief. A
department-wide election is held in December to select one of the four station
chiefs to be Department Chief. The remaining three chiefs become Assistant
Chiefs who, along with the Captains and 1st Lieutenants from each station,
make up the Fire Advisory Board. The Fire Advisory Board is responsible
for the day to day operation of the 125 person department.
